Mehdi: I think perseverance
very important. I mean, our industry suffered a heavy blow last year. This goes back to late 2018 and most of 2019. Our industry has been hit hard by tariffs and trade wars. We are very persistent and tenacious, and we are able to transfer all production from China to Taiwan. Later, we petitioned the government and obtained tariff exemptions from the Ministry of Trade, so our bikes were excluded from the tariffs. We are the first bicycle company to be exempted and the exemption applies to our entire industry, not buy phone number list just our company. This was a huge win for us last year. I think when things get tough, a lot of people’s first reaction is to give up something or just accept something like “Oh, we’re going to pay these tariffs, or that’s going to be a must.” But we did everything to make sure we could continue running our business the way we wanted, despite some of the things we did that took up a lot of bandwidth. Trade tariffs are a completely impossible plan. We took this risk and the result was in our favor. Yes, I think as long as you persevere, you can persevere in difficult times. I believe there are a lot of businesses that are experiencing the storm throughout the COVID pandemic that I’m talking to you. I think it's time to find a way to adapt to it for those who are listening, or to make the most of this situation, because persistence will pay off in the end.
