So, if your website is not visible, you can be sure that many of your potential customers are visiting the competition. If today your website does not attract more than a few dozen visitors each month, there is a good chance that you find yourself in the following 6 mistakes!
6 Reasons Why No One Visits Your Website
Reason #1: You're not using the right keywords
For your site to attract visitors, it must be well referenced on Google and search engines. If no one visits your website, it is most likely because it does not appear in the first pages of search results for the keywords that your targets enter.
Concretely, your website must include these strategic keywords regularly in your texts, your titles and in the key tags to be well referenced on Google and therefore be visible.
Be careful, if your products are new or technically complex, your customers may qatar email list not suspect their existence or may not know exactly what a product or service like yours is called.
Therefore, there is no point in referencing your website on keywords directly linked to your offers, but rather opt for keywords relating to their problems and for which your offer is a solution. Clearly, the path is less direct.
This is a very common mistake that we find among our customers.
Reason #2: You're not posting enough content
Very recently, I was contacted by an IT agency that did not understand why no one was visiting their website and why they were behind all their competitors on Google, even the smallest ones.
When I visited its website, I quickly understood: a website with less than 10 pages presenting the IT agency and its services.
To be visible and attract visitors, a website must be provided. In short, the more pages you have on your website, the better you will be referenced on Google and therefore visible.
The reason is that in fact, it is not your site that is referenced in search engines but each of your pages. So the more pages you have, the more gateways to your website.
This is why you should consider adding a blog section to your website if you haven't already done so.
Reason #3: You don’t update your website
Very often, I find that my clients have invested a large sum of money in creating their website, that they had it delivered by a communications agency and that since then, no one has touched it.
If you need to create or redo your website, I advise you to contact an agency – like ours – which will offer you, in addition to your website, support after delivery or which will allow you to have control over your website to update it regularly yourself.
You should know that for Google, a website is relevant if it is regularly updated. If a page has not moved a comma for months or even years, this page will be considered "outdated" and therefore poorly referenced.
Reason #4: Your website is not at the center of your Marketing strategy
Your website must be at the heart of your Marketing, Communication or Prospecting strategies. In short, you must constantly think about how your actions will allow you to send your contacts back to your website in one way or another.
All means are good to promote your website and attract visitors: share your content on social networks, send e-mails or include the address of your website in all your communication media.
Reason #5: Your website is not mobile friendly
We are now connected to the internet without interruption with our smartphones. The mobile internet has therefore taken on a significant scale to the point that Google favors websites adapted to navigation from a mobile device in its search results.
If your website is not visited, it may be partly because it is not designed for mobile browsing. To check that your website is well adapted to mobile browsing, I advise you to use the Google Mobile Friendly tool.
Reason #6: Your website is not indexed on Google
If your website really attracts very few visitors, it may be that your website is simply not indexed in search engines. This is possible if your website is very new, it is rarer if it is more than a few weeks old but I have already seen it with clients.
To check that the pages of your website are indexed in Google, enter the following query in the search engine: site:addressofyourwebsite.
