Digital domicile: PA communications arrive on PEC

On July 6, a new communication system between the Public Administration and citizens will come into force , namely INAD ( National Index of Digital Domiciles ), which promises better performance in terms of speed and efficiency.
From an initiative foreseen in the Cartabia reform , INAD allows you to obtain official communications with legal relevance from the PA, such as tax invoices, fines, refunds and other notifications, by sending them directly to your certified email address – PEC .
With the transition to digital format, everything that was previously sent via paper mail will be accessible electronically, marking further progress towards the digitalization of the Italian PA.
The birth of INAD is due to the partnership between the Department for Digital Transformation of the Presidency of the Council and InfoCamere, AGID and the company responsible for digital innovation of the Chambers of Commerce.

Digital domicile defines the virtual space that a person or italy telegram phone number list occupies online. It is a place where one’s digital identity is established and maintained and where one engages in various activities, such as socializing, conducting business, and accessing information of interest.
In essence, according to the definition given by EU Regulation n°910/2014 on digital identity ( eIDAS ), the digital address is essentially an electronic address, complementary to the physical one composed of street, house number, postcode and city of residence, which is selected by a certified email service.
Therefore, from June 6th all adult citizens in possession of PEC have the possibility to activate their digital domicile on INAD . The election of the domicile, as well as the modification of the PEC address and the cancellation from the index, is free. The addresses are considered valid for any communication that has legal value, and will be available for consultation starting from July 6th by simply entering the tax code of the person whose legal domicile you want to know.
