Brandenburg: Honor for Christian Schmidt

Our fellow bowler Christian Schmidt has become almost indispensable in Brandenburg bowling. Even outside the Brandenburg State Association, he is a key figure in the DKBC's planning with regard to refereeing and the lane inspection division. The list goes on and on. He was responsible for the Brandenburg bowling youth team and was a league leader. Today, he is present almost daily as head of game operations and deputy to the Vice President of Classic.
In special recognition of his services to the entire German bowling sport and for his outstanding commitment within the DKB and the DKBC, Christian Schmidt received the German Bowling and Bowling Association (DKB) Badge of Merit from the photo editing services current Vice President of Classic, Jens Lehmann. On behalf of and on behalf of the Executive Board of our Brandenburg Bowling Association, he conveyed his best wishes for health and well-being to our fellow bowler Christian Schmidt. We all wish our fellow bowler Christian the right feeling for the upcoming sporting decisions – good luck!
The Brandenburg Referee Guild celebrates a very special anniversary. Fellow sportsman Hans-Joachim Proschek completed his 200th refereeing assignment at the beginning of January 2016, during the Bundesliga match between Elsterwerda and Kleeblatt Berlin. And once again, as always, with flying colors. This was confirmed by both team captains and the chairman of ESV Lok Elsterwerda, Joachim Richter, who was also present.
It is a very special anniversary, as only very few referees can look back on so many assignments, which speaks volumes about quality. The award was presented during the Bundesliga match by the current Vice President Classic of the SKVB. Hans-Joachim Proschek's hometown club also presented honorary gifts. So – congratulations, and we wish Hans-Joachim Proschek many more of these precise and dedicated refereeing performances.
