The most common, yet most time-consuming way of downloading Facebook leads is to access leads from Facebook Ads Manager.

From the Campaigns tab, click on your lead ad campaign, then the ad set name then you’ll get to the Ads tab. You should now see a clickable link in the Results column.


Once you click on the On-Facebook Leads download link, you’ll be presented with a “Download Leads” popup asking you to select the date range.


If you have just the one ad running, this is all well and good, but if you’re split testing multiple ads, downloading leads this way is a pain. Firstly, it’s manual, meaning you actually have to login to Meta ads manager to download your leads as a csv. Secondly, you’ll have to download the leads from each separate ads… quite annoying!

If you use this method, be sure to download your leads regularly as Meta only keeps your leads for 90 days.
