I live in a house where there is practically no yard. In the sense that there are no lawns, much less a playground. A small area is fenced with a barrier so that residents can park their cars. The principle is "first come, first served." Of course, there are more cars than parking spaces, but we're used to it.
The management company recently posted a notice saying that it's bad when the yard is filled with cars, so now you can only park for 30 minutes to unload the trunk. After that, park your car wherever you want.
I agree, when there is a full-fledged yard with a lawn and benches, it is a sin to turn it into a parking lot. In the case of our house, we were happy to somehow use this tiny asphalt plot near the house. Of course, the residents were outraged.
It turned out that the brilliant idea belonged to the new tenant of the commercial premises on the ground floor. The owner of the medical clinic promised his clients hassle-free parking right at the entrance in an advertisement. Read: in our yard. And here the tenants forced everything.
Without asking anyone, without a meeting or taking into account opinions, the owners were given a new rule. The "violators" had their pagers blocked from the barrier.
We wrote a collective complaint to the head of the management company. In it, we expressed the assumption that someone in the management company.
